Job Description

We are seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator for an onsite (4 days onsite, 1 remote) role with our client in Newport Beach, CA.

Rate: $28.48

Duration: 6 months (could be extended)

Onsite 4 days a week. Newport Beach

The Learning and Development Coordinator supports the end-to-end coordination of enterprise learning programs. This role maintains training and learner records, coordinates calendaring and enrollment, manages tracking and assessments, produces reports, and handles learner communications for virtual and in-person learning events. Acting as a key liaison between the Talent Development team and external learning vendors, the Coordinator serves as a subject matter expert in learning program coordination and in the effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS).

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate learning and development program logistics for enterprise Talent Development initiatives, including:
    • LMS setup and learning event management
    • Calendar scheduling and enrollment
    • Assigning pre-work and managing materials
    • Recording attendance and completion records
  • Serve as first-line support for learner inquiries, responding in a timely and professional manner via shared mailboxes and Teams messaging.
  • Maintain organized and consistent learning documentation and repositories in SharePoint or other collaboration platforms.
  • Partner with the Cornerstone Learning System Administrator to ensure optimal system configuration and readiness for global program rollouts.
  • Produce accurate and consistent attendance, completion, and evaluation reports for stakeholders.
  • Raise delivery risks, system issues, or operational concerns to senior Talent Development team members through regular project or program meetings.
  • Provide operational coverage on other enterprise learning programs as needed to support team capacity during vacations or peak periods.

Reporting & Support

  • Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from the Talent Development Program Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in learning coordination, training operations, or program support
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Learning Management System (LMS) experience preferred
  • Experience with:
    • Cornerstone
    • Outlook
    • Teams
    • Excel
  • Experience working within a global or multi-location team environment preferred
